Modular machine concepts for filling machinery

Our client was looking for a more flexible next generation platform for its large, high value filling machinery. Sagentia conducted workshops with internal stakeholders, then created a detailed specification and identified enabling technologies. We devised modular machine concepts for more affordable package forming and filling machines, filtered the concepts and chose the most promising for development. The chosen platform concept became the lynchpin of the business unit’s product strategy.

Development of frosty beer dispenser demonstrator

Theatre is a crucial part of marketing chilled beverages. Our client wanted ideas to add theatre to its bar-top dispensing systems. We came up with the idea of super-cooling the rim of the glass, so that frost would form in the humid atmosphere. We devised and built a bench-top demonstrator unit, based on understanding of the physics and success factors. Ultimately the frosting process became a visual performance, incorporating light and sound. Spectacular!
