Martyn Ratcliffe

Martyn was appointed Chairman on 15 April 2010 following his investment in Sagentia. He has been Chairman of Microgen plc since 1998, previous to which he was senior vice president and general manager of Dell Computer Corporation, responsible for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Martyn has a degree in Physics from the University of Bath and an MBA from the City University, London.

Neil Elton

Neil joined Sagentia in August 2010. Neil has extensive experience in the media, PR and healthcare sectors and has worked for a number of international and listed companies.

Until June 2010 Neil was Finance Director at Concateno plc, an AIM listed company until it was acquired in August 2009. Concateno provides medical testing services and grew rapidly, both organically and through several acquisitions. Prior to Concateno Neil was Finance Director of Mecom Group plc, an acquisitive European media group, and prior to that Group Finance Manager at Huntsworth plc, a global PR consultancy.

Neil has a degree in Geography from Oxford University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen.

David Courtley

David was appointed a non-executive Director on 15 April 2010 and is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. From 2001 to 2008, he was Chief Executive of Fujitsu Services. David has a degree in Mathematics from Imperial College, London.

Michael Lacey-Solymar

Michael was appointed a non-executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee on 11 October 2012. Michael has over 25 years' corporate finance experience, having spent 18 years at UBS and 7 years at Investec. He is currently a partner at Opus Corporate Finance LLP.

Professor Keith Glover

Keith was appointed a non-executive Director on 1 October 2011. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society, a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Keith was elected to a Professorship of Engineering at Cambridge University in 1989, a position that he still retains. He has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London and a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
