Our services include battery systems analysis, testing and validation at our dedicated laboratory, together with battery specification and design. We work with our clients to develop new portable devices as well as help them to manage battery-related issues associated with their current products. We can provide consultancy in both primary and secondary battery technologies.

Our involvement in the energy sector is further extended by Sagentia Catella in Stockholm, Sweden. The laboratory is an accredited independent tester and developer of batteries, fuel cells, devices and systems. We test more than 10,000 batteries annually, working with most of the leading producers.

Battery systems are changing rapidly with advances in nano-materials technology, pushing the boundaries of battery performance in terms of power delivery and run time. These changes are forcing companies to rethink their battery technology strategies. Lithium-Ion, for example, is now finding new applications in power tools and other portable devices. Our experience in these areas allows us to quickly identify the candidate chemistry, battery architecture and battery management systems. We also work with more established chemistries to extend run-time and reduce life cycle costs.
