This role requires team work as well as an ability to work on ones own. Candidates must be able to demonstrate good project co-ordination and first-rate prioritising skills to deliver projects on time and to budget.

Duties will be varied and will include:

• working on both experimental laboratory activities and also desk-based projects
• investigative searches and constructing reports for delivery to clients
• mathematucal modelling using Mathcad and Matlab

The person
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with an excellent academic track record, some relevant industrial experience would be an advantage. They will be enthusiastic about building a career in a consulting environment to include client facing duties and project management responsibilities

• a good academic track record, with at least a 2.1 or equivalent in a related discipline (a Masters or PhD would be advantageous)
• post degree industrial experience would be an advantageous
• possess a good practical working knowledge of physics
• good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a strong team player
• be able to demonstrate insight and innovation

This position requires a person with strong self motivation and drive and with the ability to manage and add to their own workload.
